“LOOKING BEYOND ELECTION 2015”

"It is amazing seeing the full drama of the "New Masquerade" 2015 election. I can't but marvel at how politicians has turned families to enemies, friends to political opponents, Husband against wife, Children disobeying their parents, members against their spiritual leaders all in the name of “CHANGE” and “TRANSFORMATION”.
My take on this issue will be to advise all reading this letter is to think deep on the following

1.   Before the campaign your so called political enemies/rivals were once your friends, family member, loved one, companion, and confidant. Why must you turn enemy on the altar of politics? It is normal to have ideological or political differences but that is not a license become enemies

2.   During the electioneering process a lot of the supporters of these politicians lost their lives (sacrificed their lives in the process of campaigning or supporting the politicians) for their political leaders. But none of these political leaders attended the burial of their supporters or should I say their (supporters) absence was not even noticed because all that matters to this politicians is how to win. I can unequivocally declare that there was not a time one minute silence was observed for the fallen heroes (dead supporters) at any rally or campaign.

3.   After the elections the politicians will become friends and continue with their lives, but can you live with the guilt and heartache of breakup with your loved ones after the election. Can or will you be able to make up with those you have hurt during the campaign, will you muster the required strength to ask for forgiveness repentantly?

4) If you are one of the political gangsters, I love to know if there was any time your political leaders or their children escorted and or led you to the battle field where people were killed, properties destroyed and destines wasted?
